Staff a whole project at once, without double-booking anyone

Staffing tasks one at a time gives the best person to whichever task asked first. FitRank looks at a project's tasks together and proposes a team where nobody is booked twice or beyond the time they have free.

FitRank project staffing: four tasks selected, three of four filled, gross margin per week, and a proposed person per task with alternatives and margins
One person per task, nobody double-booked

The problem

When several tasks start together, managers compete for the same few people, and the plan that looks best task by task is often the worst for the project.

How it works

  1. 1Select up to 30 tasks that each have a finished matching run.
  2. 2FitRank proposes one person per task, never the same person twice, and never beyond their free time.
  3. 3Each proposal shows its band, fit, alternatives and margin; the plan shows tasks filled and gross margin per week.
  4. 4Managers still decide on each task.

Questions about staff several tasks at once

Does the plan assign the people?

No. It's a proposal. Each task is still decided by its manager on the matching results.

What if a task has no matching run yet?

FitRank says so and offers to run matching for it, so the plan is always built from scored results.
