Read resumes with personal details removed first

FitRank's own code strips the personal part of a resume before any AI sees it. AI only turns the professional part into fields, and HR reviews them before saving.

FitRank resume upload: personal details are removed by code before AI reads the file, then HR checks the extracted fields before saving
Privacy first, then AI

The problem

Resume parsers send the whole document, photo and date of birth included, to an AI service, then save whatever comes back as fact.

How it works

  1. 1HR uploads a PDF or Word resume and records where it came from.
  2. 2Code removes names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, links, dates of birth and photos.
  3. 3AI fills professional fields only: designation, level, experience, skills, domains and education. Anything not stated is marked unconfirmed, not guessed.
  4. 4HR checks the fields and saves. Consent is recorded and the file is deleted after a year unless the person is hired.

Questions about privacy-first resume reading

Is the resume sent to an AI service with the candidate's name?

No. Names, contact details, links, dates of birth and photos are removed by code first. The AI only sees the professional part.

What if the resume doesn't state a notice period or level?

The field is marked unconfirmed for HR to fill in. FitRank never fills it with a guess.

How long are candidate files kept?

One year after upload, then they are deleted automatically, unless the candidate is hired.
